Launching a New Brand in a Crowded Category
Toronto is already home to many high-end restaurants, especially in Yorkville. Mangal Prime needed to feel on par with those icons while entering a completely different area of the city. Toronto & GTA area already had several Turkish and Middle Eastern restaurants. Mangal needed a clear, differentiated identity that felt more premium and memorable than “just another kebab place.
Elevating, Not Duplicating, the First Location
At the start, there was no logo, website, menu design, social media, or content. Everything, from visual identity to digital infrastructure, had to be created and aligned with a bold long-term vision.
Redefining Where Fine-Dining Lives
Luxury Turkish restaurants are expected to be downtown. Mangal Prime’s ambition is to shift that perception and show that a true fine-dining destination can thrive in Richmond Hill, drawing guests from across the GTA.

Refined Brand Positioning & Visual Direction
Houze Media developed a brand story that clearly separates Prime from the original location — positioning it as a luxury, reservation-driven, valet-serviced experience while still living inside the trusted Mangal universe. The visual identity, interior direction, and tone of voice all reflect a more elevated, evening-focused atmosphere.
Full Digital Ecosystem for a Flagship Launch
We built Mangal Prime’s digital presence from the ground up: dedicated social channels, content pillars, and a launch-ready website experience focused on reservations and storytelling. High-end photo and video concepts highlight dishes, cocktails, and the space itself as a North Toronto destination.
Hype-Driven “Opening Soon” Campaigns
A multi-month pre-opening campaign is warming up the Richmond Hill and north-Toronto audience with behind-the-scenes progress, design sneak peeks, and lifestyle content. Messaging focuses on the idea of “Yorkville-level dining in the north,” building curiosity and anticipation before the first service.

Even before opening, Mangal Prime is already recognized as a highly anticipated restaurant in Richmond Hill. The brand has its own identity, a clear promise — luxury Turkish fine-dining with valet service in the north — and a growing online community ready to book as soon as doors open.
By building on Mangal Kebab House’s success while pushing the experience to a new level, Houze Media is helping turn Mangal Prime into more than a second location: it’s being positioned as a flagship that will redefine where top-tier Turkish dining can live in the GTA.
